In This Video, i talk about what a "Rent Back" is in a residential real estate sale/escrow. It's a term that is used frequently in the real estate industry. When a homeowner is seller their house, typically they need to close escrow before they move out and onto their next home/location. Well, once escrow closes, they no longer own the house anymore so that is facilitated with a "Rent Back."
If a buyer is competing with multiple offers, it can sometimes be a great way of sweetening your offer and making yours stronger for the seller compared to the other offers.
This video should provide great info if you are getting close to buying or selling and want to educate yourself.
